ERZ waste disposal application

ERZ Entsorgung + Recycling Zürich is launching a new, modern version of its waste disposal app at the beginning of March 2023.  2BIT implemented the application.

The free waste disposal app offers the people of Zurich information and tips on how to dispose of waste easily and ecologically. In addition to a fresh design, there are also additional functions such as a city map with all disposal points and news about ERZ projects.

The aim of the new application was not only to integrate it into the new design of the city of Zurich, but also to ensure improvements such as a more stable environment for the functionalities and to improve user-friendliness.

Saving costs thanks to Webcomponent

Thanks to the use of a Webcomponent design system, time and costs could be saved during the project. This is because the development steps could be shown in a concrete design before the actual development. This greatly simplified development and collaboration. In addition, 2BIT was also able to support the City of Zurich's new design system with active feedback..
