Transparency and innovation

The Familie Wiesner Gastronomie (FWG) company discloses its wages. The salary of all employees, whether kitchen help or management, can be determined in just a few steps thanks to a salary calculator. This clever tool, implemented by 2BIT, is freely available and can be accessed via the company website. It’s a campaign that has caused quite a stir.

Manuel Wiesner, Co-Lead Strategy & Innovation for the Wiesner Gastronomie AG family, predicts that the current taboo surrounding salaries will disappear sooner or later. He emphasises that it's not just about simply disclosing salaries, but also about explaining salary differences in a comprehensible way, which has a positive effect on the working atmosphere..

Another important project in the digitalisation process of Familie Wiesner Gastronomie AG is the complaint process portal developed by 2BIT. The tool offers a self-explanatory and extremely user-friendly interface to effectively address a wide range of user backgrounds. Integration into the existing ecosystem, in particular Abacus and other systems, as well as the consideration of future developments were key aspects in the design of this application.
