Efficient management of solar power
"To become the largest seller of solar power in Switzerland" - that is the vision of our customer Solar21. To achieve this ambitious goal, an efficient ERP system is required. 2BIT is privileged to accompany Solar21 on this journey.
"There are only a few ERP solutions in the Swiss energy market that meet our requirements. We deliberately decided against an industry solution and opted for Flectra. In addition to the low costs, the modular structure and efficient expansion options convinced us," explains Daniel Rey, Co-CTO. When the project started, Solar21 was still a start-up. The most important processes were developed from scratch with 2BIT and mapped in Flectra. Only the industry-specific meter-to-cash process required complex in-house development.
What started small is growing steadily.
"Our vision for 2024 is clear: we will continue to expand our model and ensure that even more clean energy flows. Our goal is to sell more than 40 GWh of electricity and deliver more than 30 GWh of solar power - the sun will not escape us," says the Solar21 website. Two years ago, Solar21 issued around 80 invoices per month. Today it is around 1000 and soon it will be 2000. Continuous development and adaptation of processes and systems are therefore essential. With the help of 2BIT, new functions are constantly being developed and implemented.
